So I have been slowly plugging along with Weight Watchers. Since June I am down 15 lbs and kind of stayed there. The holidays kicked my behind a bit… well more than a bit. I ended up gaining 5 lbs! So I have 15 lbs to go on this journey. Truly, this is not a diet but a lifestyle change.
It is no secret that I have a sweet tooth. I love sweet things. Who am I kidding, I just love food. So apple slices with cinnamon and splenda is my new favorite go to snack. It is sweet, satisfying, healthy – and you guessed it: 0 points plus. That is a big win!
It is important as a busy mom on the go to pack snacks. It is healthier and more frugal to pack snacks for your kids and for you. So this is a favorite of mine now and even my 5 year old loves it.
Two other snacks that I love to pack are:
Peeled Mandarin Oranges
Two mandarin oranges make a great snack option. I like to peel them ahead of time and put them into a baggie. That way, I can eat them on the run pretty easily. Also 0 points plus!
One other snack option that I like to pack is a banana:
Contained in its own “wrapper” a banana is a great 0 point snack to pack. Healthy, filling and tasty!
