We get prayer requests turned in during our seminars. I usually type them up in one file and email it to the local pastor we are working with. This last week we had a few prayer requests turned in about children: Children in trouble. Children whose parents are hooked on meth. Children who won't let their parents see the grand kids. Children who left the church. Which has convicted me once more. I need to be really praying for these two children of mine. Each day it seems that … [Read more...]

All About Her – My Princess
My daughter and I went on mommy daughter date last week and had a great time. I bought a new dress. She ate orange sherbet for the first time and loved it. It is hard to believe how fast time is going by. This is what it will always be like. A blink. And she'll be gone. Grown up. It is so bittersweet. My Princess She loves to dance in the aisle during song service. She steals the iPhone to watch Kung Fu Panda way too loudly during prayer. She is independent and stubborn. She has no idea … [Read more...]

Will These Kids Always Get Sick?
We are in the third month of the year and so far, each month has resulted in the kids being sick. It is making me wonder - will these kids of mine always get sick so easily? Is dealing with sickness the norm for most families? We travel so much and expose them to so many germs that I wonder if we are a bit at fault. Maybe I should be making sure they eat healthier, sanitize more, and wash hands religiously? We are having a great seminar in Arkansas this month. We opened with about 140 people … [Read more...]
6 Tips for Breastfeeding On the Go
We travel. A lot. I breastfeed. A lot. My Little Man is 9 months old and I am planning to breastfeed him until he is two. Here are my Tips for Breastfeeding On the Go: 1. Feed him when you can. Stopping at Starbucks during your drive? Feed him. Potty Break? Feed him. I have fed my son in the airport, in the restroom, in the restaurant, in the van, anywhere that is necessary. 2. Wear your nursing pads. Bring an extra pair on the travel day. There is nothing I dislike more than having a wet … [Read more...]
Handprint Easter Chick Preschool Craft
This week we read a story about a grandmother and granddaughter who were feeding the chickens. The hen just had chicks and the granddaughter could not see them under the wings. Grandma explained that the momma chick protected her little chicks under her wings when they were frightened, or when it was cold. She then shared a Bible verse from Psalm 91 - which my Princess and I are learning this week: He will cover you with his feathers. He will shelter you with his wings... Psalm 91:4 NLT We … [Read more...]
