We made it safely home!
After a blessed weekend filled with baptisms and a wedding, we left Oklahoma on such a high note. We will miss our friends there.
The flight home was pretty miserable. Two planes, one sick and pregnant mamma, and a 3 year old who didn’t want to sleep.
But we made it!
After a restful night of sleep (praise the Lord for grandparents who are willing to take the Princess for the night!), we got ready to head to our first midwife appointment.
Everything went well. And the most exciting part?

We heard our baby’s heartbeat!
My parents also came to the appointment with us.
They wanted to hear it too.
We all got teary eyed.
God is so good.
I am growing this human being inside me.
What a miracle!
